CelloPlus streamlines the payroll process order to reduce the chance of errors being made in an integral part of managing a superyacht. An approval process developed in CelloPlus ensures there are multiple sets of eyes to spot any anomilies before they happen.
The payroll process of CelloPlus is built upon the success ot CelloMarine, which actively supports 1,500 superyachts and 20,000 crew payments on a monthly basis.
CelloPlus allows crew members to input and submit their hours of work and rest for approval. This can be done both on desktop and mobile devices in an efficient manner. Heads of Department can review and approve submissions on a weekly basis to ensure crew members are working safely and are not being overworked.
Customised reports can be generated on demand when entering port, and a real-time dashboard allows crew rnembers to keep on top of non-compliance.
With CelloPlus, adding new crew members can be done quickly and easily without the need to send and receive sensitive information via email in an unsafe manner. Potential new crew members can be requested to securely submit their personal information and certifications via Workflow, after which authorised CelloPlus users can evaluate the entered data and proceed with the onboarding procedure.
Due to the complete customizability of this onboarding procedure, numerous sets of eyes can confirm that all entered data is accurate.
Users of all kinds can access a real-time customizable dashboard to get a status report on any pending concerns, from individual crew members to management company users. Users of CelloPlus can get information on upcoming staff rotations, payroll breakdowns for the previous 12 months, and the expiration dates of certificates, to name a few.
A custom report request can also be made, and new reports are continually being created and added.
CelloPlus offers a scheduling and leave management module to efficiently maintain the day to day running of a superyacht. Individual crew members can monitor their rotations, make leave requests through a fully customisable process, and view their daily leave balance at the click of a button.
In addition, Captains and Pursers can prepare travel and flight information for crew members when they embark and disembark the yacht, as well as ensure the safe manning quotas are compliant daily.

Individual crew members can examine their daily leave balance at the touch of a button, request leave via a fully customizable process, and keep track of their rotations. As crew members board and leave the yacht, captains and pursers can also arrange travel and flight details for them and make sure the safe manning quotas are met each day.
The CelloPlus crew scheduling tool not only allows the yacht management to have an easy to use tool to manage what can be a complicated and contentious issue. Having a single record of all crew leave can prevent complicated and disruptive events happening when different departments and individuals all monitor leave in separate ways. Linking the crew members contracts and the ships needs to manage crew numbers all contribute to making the CelloPlus leave scheduler a must have.
Being a web-based application it’s also possible to have visibility to all crew of rotation patterns for the yacht, department or individual level on a secure platform that can be viewed from anywhere. CelloPlus also uses the scheduler to manage Work and Rest management, if a crew member is scheduled on leave, then the requirement to process Work/Rest is negated and automatically marked on Leave. On busy yachts the changes and modifications are sometimes a daily or hourly requirement, having a simple to use tool that can accurately manage all eventualities can be invaluable.
